Falsification of African Consciousness ... Amos N. Wilson
Guides: Wekesa Madzimoyo & Kemit Manakana
Cost: $99 or donate what you can afford

A follow-up to and extension of the classic: Mis-education of the Negro by Carter G. Woodson, this is a must read/study for Warriors and Healers attendees, Parents, Educators, Social Service professionals, Community activists.

African people are a powerful people and we are also a manipulated people such that our power is thwarted and used to benefit others over us. The remedy lies in our understanding how we have been and continue to be mis-educated, mis-socialized, alienated such that our consciousness is not our own, but that of our oppressors. While this awareness is the first step, it means little without personal, community, organizational, people-based action to heal the alienation and to restore our authentic African consciousness and behavior. The community we form will help move us to new behavior and action.

As a follow-up to our Invaders? Protectors? Nurturers? Seminar, we offer a 5-week study session  This session will feature posted lessons for you to view as your schedule allows and "live" fully interactive sessions, with synchronized slide presentation, voice, video, and text chat. Over the 5 weeks, we’ll also watch and discuss two Amos Wilson videos .
